Influence is a term that refers to the ability to indirectly control or affect the actions of other people or things. The meaning of influence therefore depends on who or what is being affected, and to what end. You can pick up and learn from anyone. I don’t try and focus on one person or thing to influence me but instead I take what I can from everyone and everything and try to use it to my advantage. I don’t have a certain style, I play what I feel and anyone around me at the time could be an influence. There is always something someone else can do that you can’t. So instead of saying someone’s better then the next, I ask that person to teach what I don’t know. The world to me is an influence and I use it in everyway hoping to one day be considered a full/well rounded INNOVATIVE MUSICIAN and not just another guitar player.

I have my own unique sound. I am always trying to make something different. That is what is going to separate me from every other guitar player! I play what I feel not what everyone else is doing.
My name is Vassilios Metropoulos, better known as "V" and music is my life. I am the most dedicated and hardest working person in music industry today. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I have been playing, writing, and producing music for about 4.5. I have a very wide range of instruments from guitar to piano as well as bass, drums, percussion and well anything that can produce music. I was even known to attempt to make some noise with a sax once. I have studied with some of the greatest, most successful musicians in the world. “Success is measured by ones self “ and I already consider myself to be a successful musician. Inspired to learn everything about music and all of its styles. There is no top for me. I will forever be studying and will one day be considered the hardest working musician of my time.
My equipment ranges from custom made electric guitars, to two separate Yamaha Acoustic guitars, one steel and one nylon string. My Rivera Knuckle Head 2 power amp, caries my sound to a Rivera Cabinet mic'ed with 3 separate microphones. To finish my sound I go through a Yamaha MG16/6fx Sound Board, this controls my overall sound .
I have a lot of stage experience. Playing live is what I work for. The stage is my home. I’ve played stages from The Canary Casino Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. to The Troubadour in Santa Monica, CA. to the Electric Theater in St. George, Utah. Etc. Ive been on tours and many other things. I have a stage presence unlike any other. I put off something you can only experience if you see me play live. I have a sponsorship from Kaustic Clothing. I have a lot of press experience. The press is something I strive for, it is something that separates me from everyone else. There were times when I had to play a show then go to a radio interview and play another show the same night. I have done photo shoots and played shows an hour later. LV Rocks is one of the radio stations I have done an interview with. I also have been in many different write ups. One example is, Beverly Hills Outlook. This is something that I am very familiar with. I have my own unique playing style. I have different outlook when it comes to influences and learning. I believe that you can learn from everyone and everything in this world especially music and musicians. There is always someone out there who can do something you cant or knows something you don't. I have studied many guitar players. I have learn the best way to write music is to do it from the heart and soul. That is what makes me a unique guitar player. That is what separates me from everyone else. The music industry is the hardest industry to get into. Not only is it hard to get into but hard to be successful. I once said that I want to “live my life to achieve musical utopia.” I tend to do just that. I will get into the industry and be very successful. Music is something I do not take lightly. It is what I am going to do. It is where my heart lies.

Hi Vs Life! Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet". For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others.
This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out.
