About me:
Established in 1993, the Vegetarian Society of El Paso (VSEP) has become one of the largest vegetarian associations in the US as well as one of the most active. We are an all-volunteer, non-profit educational organization whose mission is to promote the benefits of a plant-based diet by incorporating education with entertaining social events. In an effort to optimize the spirit of sharing, The Vegetarian Society of EI Paso is pleased to be affiliated with The Lone Star Vegetarian Network (www.lsvn.org) - a Texas-wide organization.
The purpose of the Vegetarian Society of El Paso is to educate others about the joy and benefits of being vegetarian. The organization is committed to social change toward a vegan lifestyle which is free of animal products and animal testing. We recognize that our members will be diverse in their diets, interests, beliefs and philosophies. Thus, membership is open to anyone professing an interest in vegetarianism.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone Interested in making the World a better place for all species.

This Wednesday from 4 to 9 PM at UTEP, we will be showing at least 2 movies: Zero: An Investigation into 9/11, and America: Freedom to Fascism. They will be shown at the Union Cinema.
Wonder why our economy is collapsing? America: Freedom to Fascism will explain who is robbing us of our money. Zero: An Investigation into 911 shows that the governments "official" story of 911 can not be true.
Come out and gain some important knowledge on what is going on in the world today.
hello fellow vegetarians! i need your help. I took in a Rodeshain ridge-back blak mouth cur a few months back and could not keep her. We gave her away to what we thought was a good home but the original owners got a call that she had been taken in by the humane society. I can not contact the people who she escaped from and she has till thursday to get adopted..or else! i can not keep her since she is so big but she is a wonderful girl! she is kettle trained and very friendly with lil children. please someone give her a good home!! ask around or even if you could take care of her till i find someone to keep her. anything really helps!! i know we can not save every animal but we can sure as hell start with "sweetie pie"!!
It's nice to know that there are so many people that are veggie heads just like me in El Paso. Too bad i don't live there anymore but i visit yearly. I would love to meet some fellow vegetarians. Italy doesn't really have many vegetarians. :(
