V-Soul is designed to give our audience an up close and personal experience with these national artists by interviewing them one on one. The show airs in the Cleveland Metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs of Northeast Ohio. It is our intention to produce a contemporary and jazzy episode throughout the city of Cleveland at well known events and venues. The music we feature is infused by R&B which is a form of soul music that has been a major influence in the world. Over the last 15 years a new form of soul music has been created called Neo-soul or New soul. Neo soul has remained almost exclusive to R&B outlets such as urban radio but limited to TV outlets such as BET and TV One. Most of the artists that we feature are familiar to mainstream audiences, and its sound generally focuses on artist expression rather than pop orientation. We focus on displaying community values with each episode we air. These artists will help us do just by using their poetic and artistic skills to teach the people in our community about love, life and supporting one another as a human race. V-Soul’s audience tends to be 25 and up that are underground, preferring that the music favor underground credibility and soulfulness over mainstream popularity. This is a unique medium to maintain awareness and increase new business. When a popular public personality suggests a brand, people are more willing to pay attention.
