Favorite song? Ah, there are a few special ones, like Guillermo's Mexico, Piaf's La Vie En Rose, Perry Como's Catch a Falling Star, maybe even
Beethoven's Opus 132...thanks to George and Judith,

I’m sure there are a number I’ve left off, but these are some that have affected me the most over the years. Mike Myers and Tom Hanks make me laugh; Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman amaze me; and sure - I’ve momentarily swooned over a coupla gorgeous guys now and then, but anything that sticks with me for years and years had to have that seemingly special something about it.
Television
In Europe when I was a girl, we didn't have one. In my teen years, I was glued to Dark Shadows and The Monkees, Man From Uncle and a couple more... and pretty much any movie. I remember watching the miniseries 'A Town Like Alice' when I was pregnant with my son, so that really stands out in my memory. Not to mention it was quite good. Later got into A and E, Bravo, Sundance and so forth. And was a major X-Files fan! But I haven't watched television really since maybe 2000, I think. And I realized recently, I haven't missed it a bit.
Books
Marina Tsvetayeva's poetry. Atlas Shrugged, Everything by Thomas Moore. Disappearance of the Universe. Wide Sargasso Sea. 72 Names of God. The Human Stain. The Dante Club. The Secret History. The Palace. Disgrace. The Dive From Clausen's Pier. Leaves of Grass. The Hours. ACIM. Twilight of the Celtic Gods. Up Island. Old Cockatoo. The Perfect Storm. The Woman Pope. The Sophia Sutras. The Power of Now. Walden. David Copperfield. Moby Dick. Arrowsmith. To Kill A Mockingbird. Fall On Your Knees. Don Quixote. An occasional vampire novel. L'Etranger. Possession. The Mabinogian. The Lord of The Rings. The Grapes of Wrath. Angels and Demons. To The Lighthouse. On The Road. The Magus. Cape Cod. Call of the Wild. And thousands more...I usually have several books going at once, around the various screenplays. I read an average of 3 books a week and have read 30 a month. I was raised on the classics, as well as fairy tales, mythology, history, and biographies of those who have contributed to the betterment of our planet.
Great hearts steadily send forth the secret forces that incessantly draw great events. Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Heroes
Those who appreciate the fullness of life and live it sans judgment of others, bringing their Truth to wherever it's needed, without fanfare. Some people who have influenced or affected me deeply: Francis Ford Coppola. Julia Shade. My mother (yeah, there's a story there.) Vincent. Christopher Reeve. John Lennon. Julia Butterfly Hill. Fred Rogers. St. Francis of Assisi. John Galt. And whoever was behind William Shakespeare.

I know who I Am. I love and cherish my Life. I have very high standards and a solid set of values. I tolerate but do not spend time or energy with those who yield to ignorance, pretense, substance abuse, force, or meanness. I don't participate in anyone's avoidable 'real life dramas', though I have great compassion for the condition of our world.

Who I'd like to meet:
Great minds. Soulful artists, filmmakers and writers, and anyone else who, while taming the ego, yet relishing Life and one's Self, recognizes the grand illusion of it all...
A NOTE ABOUT THE FRIENDS LISTS - Please read it all:
I try to regard everyone as a friend. I know many of the folks on my friends list. I enjoy my friends and correspondence from them, however I seldom have time to respond, but I try - as I am working or traveling.
IMPORTANT: I really prefer comments that have few graphics, (1 ideal, 3 tops). If you have something elevating or positive to say or show or share, I welcome it. I do not post comments that feature banner ads, political propaganda, dogmatic deceits or sex. I'm a professional artist and appreciate your recognizing that is why I am here. It is always truly refreshing when I meet truly like-minded folks who 'get it'.
All of us matter and I trust we are all contributing at our highest ability, thus I usually add those who send a friend request, especially filmmakers and other artists who are clearly creating something worthwhile. Ultimately, it comes down to something very simple, eh? With specific regard to:
WRITERS: I admire writers and welcome connections to anyone who writes or appreciates literature, screenplays, poetry, and so forth. I must note that I am wholly dedicated to an incredibly talented, very small group I call 'my' writers - these people are included below: Jason, Nelson, CJ, and Gary, primarily, with Noel, Randy, and Marcus also in the loop. I am committed to bringing their work to the screen and it'll likely take us through the next dozen years or so. I am able to consult periodically, and want to encourage others to keep writing! Write, write, rewrite, write!
Please do not ask me to read, analyze, edit or rewrite your screenplay, novel, short-stories and so forth UNLESS you are willing to pay my customary rates for such services. And thank you - in anticipation.
Considerations for co-productions evolve from high integrity relationships built with the best in the businesss, not empty wishes or pipe dreams.
ACTORS: I support your efforts, however please be aware casting through myspace would not give you the opportunity you are working so hard for. Yes, you may 'get lucky', but the usual routes serve you better. If we are ever in your area, we'll be sure to post notices.
MUSICIANS: I truly appreciate great music. If I personally like your music or think it might someday add value to our projects, I'll happily add you. Otherwise, please continue to seek out those who are better matches.
GROUPS: I know there are some great groups out there, but if you invite me into a group, please don't be offended, I simply don't have the time to participate meaningfully.
PRIVATE pages - I respect that, however please jot a note sharing something about who you are and why we are aligned as friends. Or I'll have no clear reason to have time for your profile.
Foremost, let us all be wise and authentic, and follow our dreams with intelligence and kindness intact.

Undelivered Sorrow
16 April 2009
You were faith in my heart,
you were beauty, far apart
You were the woman, the
woman that should know love
The mother of a child,
the mother with a soul
And yes, you had been hurt,
you have felt pain and loss
When only you can breathe the breath,
the breath of a heart
Only you can cry those tears,
the tears you cry into undelivered sorrow
The wisdom of a kiss, the look into your eyes,
only you can smile, if that smile is to come alive
You are that woman, but more and so,
to have gone and been, and have survived
Hey...long time no C... how are you? Some smoke signals from Brazil to inform you that I am still alive ! Hoping you are happy over there, drop a line whenever possible.
Hey Vulcana Wolfe, hope you're having a great day! Say, do you believe in God? If so, do you think it comes with a tangible science we can hope to understand one day, or should it remain a mystical concept?
“It is the characteristic of the magnanimous man to ask no favour but to be ready to do kindness to others”. Aristotle
