Burning baggage, a David Lynch fever dream, Mensus, the power of will, shameless hussies with butcher knives, carnal politics, Ariel Levy's worst nightmare, the right to choose, Donnie Darko's wet dream and getting f%ked to smithereens!

Vulgaras' unique sound is coined as 'Torch Rock'. A culmination of raw rock n roll, torch song, & the blues.
Velocity Chyaldd founded Vulgaras as a vehicle to unite her passionate imagination with her love of music.
Her collaborators include - Devyl Dave on guitar, Oz on Bass and Bones on drums. The music made by "the Vulgar 3" can be described as dirty, sage and progressive.
Velocity's lyrics portray an unapologetic provocative spirit, while her vocals deliver a brazen bravado laced with vulnerability.
Their new CD "Heavy Handed Heart" will be released September 2008. It is a collection of songs ripped by hand, from the deepest chambers of the heart. The place where we hide our heaviest of secrets.
Hey Vulgaras! We just posted another song, SitStill, from our upcoming EP, One Foot it the Salt. Have a listen and let us know what ya think! Much Love, Eric...Antagonista
You ROCKED the Bowery Poetry Club!!!! An amazing and powerful performance! The band was so tight and powerful. You all took the stage and owned it. Velocity you were so fantastic to watch and although, it was clear to everyone that your throat was horse every time you spoke, your singing so lost none of its power and never an off note song. Velocity you are one Hell of a looker to boot. Hard to keep one's eyes off of you....... But Devyl Dave was equelly exciting to watch as was Bones. Work thoese dreads!!! Oz was not so showly but is a solid craftsman. You all worked so fluidly together. I saw an ealrier lineup of the Vulgaras at Otto's Shrunking Head back in '05. The Drummer was vey good but the lineup had alot of problems. Since than the lineup changed. This is the lineup that is 150% on the money. A real band. I thought this is watch it might have been like for some UK kid in the 70's seeing a band called Earth just before they changed their name to Black Sabbath! GREAT SHOW!!!!!
