Everything started in…
…July 2007.The beginning of an adventure that drives four individuals united by the same passion for music. The root of it all was rock, the objective was, to rock. Looking back at their first jam they remember what it felt like to hear first time the energy packed tones that suffocated everyone present at the small practice room. Today, when listening to vulture you are immediately involved in a melodic tension that forces you to face your most haunting ghosts.
February 2008 was the start of mission. First recordings, support from a record label (OutLoud Music). First single: «Why don't we...». The Vultures were out… Time for the first gigs and reactions.
Pick Up The Pieces…
May 2008. It has gotten serious! A dream is unleashed in the form of a CD. «Pick up... the pieces» is the name of Vulture’s debut album, the sum of all parts, where each fragment is a song and a ticket to a universe of reflection over your most hidden values.
A success with thousands of visits in web space, messages poured and CD’s were sold all over the world. The band plunged in to work and produced a videoclip for the song “hiding” released only on the internet (Youtube).
2008 Tour
The objectives continued growing to a bigger scale, an official tour was planned with record label OutLoud Music. The initial idea pointed to a dozen concerts, from September to December, but it was quickly overtaken by the booking of 18 gigs in four months. Thousands of people among festivals, clubs and bares got a chance to get the first glimpse of the Vulture. Everything happened! Two shows in different towns on the same day, even celebrating the new year on a stage. The band never neglected an opportunity of meeting new people and playing their music. The mission continues…
…What’s next…
.. no one really knows, but there are a lot of ideas on the table. The “Pick Up The Pieces” Tour will be extended in to 2009, a new videoclip is already in the oven, new songs are being played live…
…These are just a few drops in a sea filled thanks to the blood sweat and tears the Vulture sheds with all his will and passion.
