VULTURES IN THE SKY is also the name of a song, a 15-song album of sound recordings…and a Conceptual Pop Opera in the Tradition of Tommy by The Who, The Wall by Pink Floyd and SF Sorrow by the Pretty Things.
VULTURES IN THE SKY starts off in a Junkyard: The Car Graveyard for all 4-wheeled Sedans, Coupes and Convertibles. It ends in Speed Kills: The Final Statement of Car Choices… which like life itself, ends in death.
The 15 separate song performances trace the life of a young car through various life-changing adventures... such episodes as Drive By Shootings, Cruising, Drag Racing, Joy Riding, and Sex-capades on Lover's Lane.
Followers of NASCAR, Custom Car Shows, the Soap Box Derby, Hot Rod Life, Travelogues, Time Machines, Popular Mechanics, Easy Rider, Road Kill and all things transportation… will find stories of value and something to relate to in VULTURES IN THE SKY.

VULTURES IN THE SKY was created and recorded in Culver City, California USA in late 1994 / early 1995.
Four of the songs were featured on a Represent Records Compilation CD in 1996.
Represent is owned by DJ Magic Mike and Tom Reich. Mike and Tom were the founders of the legendary Cheetah Records – the most successful bass music record company in the history of the Billboard Music Charts.
VULTURES IN THE SKY were the ONLY West Coast unit to ever be released on Cheetah or Represent.
In the international marketplace, Wreckage became an Underground Radio Turntable hit in 1997 in Mexico City.
In Winter 1998, two tracks, Wreckage and Dogtown USA were acquired for the Slick Willie and the Arkansas Frogs Political Satire Compilation, Washington Scandals and Desert Thunder (St. Roch Records).
The CD was the most played USA album during the Kosovo Conflict in 1998 on Belgrade Radio. In fact, MTV awarded B92the "MTV Free Your Mind" award that year. (Belgrade TV station TV Kosava – owned by President Milosevic’s daughter Marija - interrupted its live broadcast of the MTV Europe Music Awards to prevent Belgrade audiences from seeing Radio B-92 receiving the award.)
VULTURES IN THE SKY selections appear on the soundtrack of the experimental underground film, Frankenstein Goes Surfing. The movie also features various Vultures as actors who are members in good standing of the Outlaws in America Drama Club.
VULTURES IN THE SKY WERE AHEAD OF THEIR TIME.
