VELVETTE VENDETTA: Soft yet mysterious and dangerous. Formed in the summer of 2006 when Jacky (vocal + guitar) decided to continue his unfinished music work after his studies in Toronto. Jacky would later ask Ken (bass) to join him after some serious talks about rare guitar pedals. Andre (drum), who returned from Ohio, also joined the band fulfilling his desire to perform. After a couple of practices Dave (guitar) was also recruited by Jacky, and Jacky believes an additional point of view will help expand the limits of the band's sound.
Influenced by various music genres, mainly from the late 90's, but primarily alternative and grunge with a touch of the "darker" side of classical music, will guarantee to put on an energetic and phenomenal live musical performance that will please the crowds -- from head-bangers to flashy girls.
VELVETTE VENDETTA (VV) is growing fast and we have already thrown out a list of originals. We are now in the midst of recording demos for our first album. The year of 2007 is going to be an important year for VELVETTE VENDETTA as the band will disclose themselves to the local band scene, meeting new bands and gaining exposure from playing on stage.
