With the simple goal of forming the ultimate singing group for the new generation, the search was on around the USA. Five talented and driven young men started by finding each other through countless contacts & music posting boards. The group initially met in May of 2005. With over 2 years down the road, hours of rehearsals, recordings and changes in the band, VYBE is ready to be heard. Vybe is comprised of singers, dancers, songwriters and most importantly...PERFORMERS! Each member brings experience to the table to create the interesting mix. Various members appeared on American Idol (TOP 24), opened for such acts as Jessica Simpson, Hillary Duff, Frankie J, Aaron Carter, Jojo, Xzibit, Howie D of BSB, school tours, half-time shows/anthems, national press / print / publication, and the list goes on. With each member raising the bar in order to reach their dream, fate brought them together as one.
VYBE's goal is to make music that last for years to come. The common bond of the group is the passion and drive for success through MUSIC. All the guys with different backgrounds will only make for a more exciting and diverse pack. There's something for everyone.
Daniel with his Asian background brings musicality and unique creativity. David is the older brother type that keeps everyone in check. C.J. is your guy next door and often makes you laugh. Lastly, Taylor, the baby of the group, utilizes his youth with bringing on raw energy, southern hip hop flow to the mix.
VYBE has performed at Hard Rock Live and many teen events in the states. They continue to write and record new material, honing their skills in the studio and on stage. This is not a pre-fabricated project. This is the REAL DEAL.
The definition of POPULAR MUSIC has certainly changed over the years. With that in mind, the guys have their sight on turning the music business yet again with their harmonies, stage performances, attitude, presence and energy! A pop group that can actually SING and put themselves together is hard to find these days. VYBE has been in the studio working on songs possibly for the debut album with Producers GARY BAKER ("I SWEAR"-All4One, "NEVER GONE"-Backstreet Boys / Lonestar), ANTHONY LITTLE (songwriter-producer who's worked with Justin Timberlake, Natural, Tina Turner), SCOTT STORCH ("Run it" - Chris Brown, "Candyshop" -50 Cent / Eminem), "Fitz" Scott ( BSB / Faith Hill), DEZ WILLIAMS ("CUPID" - 112), Kevin Paige (Aaron Carter / Martina Mcbride) and JASPER / BIG REESE ("You"-Lloyd/Lil'Wayne, "Dirty" - Christina Aguilera / Mario / Ciara) etc.....You ask whats been missing in the MUSIC scene lately?
