Although my roots are R&B and Hip Hop, I listen to everything! I try to get my ear on any and every genre of music out there...I don't discriminate. I don't even have to understand it lyrically to like it...I just feel it.

About me: Sup, all! The name is VynilRob the Brooklynite. If you peeped my stats, you knows I'm a crusty kinda guy, born 1960 in Brooklyn. I was married for 18+ years with 2 kids...recently separated. I work at Macy's Willowbrook, and, most importantly, I love music. All types and kinds, no matter what genre. I love listenin' to it, makin' it (via computer, of course), collecting it, and especially dancin' to it. I was in a fire accident back in '71 and since then music's been the most consistent companion in my life next to God. It's all I live for. You can catch me at QXTs almost every Friday and Saturday night on the floor by myself (feel free to join me, I won't bite!). The music is excellent and the people give off such a positive vibe, it's downright intoxicating! I'm a fairly easy guy to like, and I hope you can accept me in whatever community I try to get into.

Who I'd like to meet: These people have been a big influence on how I do in my life, both musically and personally: Pete Rock, Erick Sermon, DJ Premier, Dr. Wayne Dyer (author of my "bible", "Your Erroneous Zones"), Prince Paul, DJ Muggs, and Rakim. Should I meet these people in my lifetime, I just want to thank them for all they've done for me.
