About me: VZW MaNo was set up by a group of musicfans who all shared the idea that in the local neighbourhood(Oost-Vlaanderen/Belgium and Zeeuws-Vlaanderen/Netherlands)not much happened concerning rock, metal, hardcore and punk.
Therefor we started VZW MaNo and in 2005 we launched the first Meadow Festival. We chose for a diverse line-up consisting of gothic, deathmetal, metalcore, powerprog and crossover. In 2006 we concentrated ourselves on setting up local shows with again a diversity of bands and our yearly highpoint should have been the Meadow Festival. But because of financial issues the Meadow Fest didn't go through in 2006. But the first three clubshows did happen and they're all good. We covered our costs and this means we'll continue doing local gigs in Wachtebeke in 2007 as well. But we decided to do it on a monthly base this year, this because we think we can spread our name much better and because we know not every band is that expensive. So in March 2007 we'll start doing monthly gigs at venue Onze Kring in Wachtebeke and we'll do it every first Friday of the month. So far the first monthly gigs in 2007 were a succes and also Meadow Fest II went real well, we had some great bands playing there and the audience just loved it all.
This past summer it was real quiet concerning monthly gigs because the venue-owners had to renew the small venue we're using for these gigs. But now this small venue has been renewed and we're set to go on with our monthly gigs at venue-complex Onze Kring. Our first new gig will be held on November 2nd and more gigs will be announced soon.

30.08.2008 - We have to cancel Meadow Fest
we're extremely sorry but we have to cancel saturday's show at Meadow Fest, Belgium. Fedi has an infected throat from last weekends cold and rainy mudbath in Gränichen and as of today it still hasn't gotten any better. We waited until the last minute but now we have no other choice than calling it off. We've been looking forward to play Belgium again and we want to apologize to the promoters for this and also to our fans for not being able to make it. I hope you can understand.
