You have totally dedicated yourself to Nano. Nothing but it lately huh? That's great that you are getting through it so diligent to your idea Rachel. I have cranked out school related writing these past few weeks. Some essays and such for Shakespeare. The Tempest is one of my new favorites. Need to shift my focus on Xavier again now that I only have Sonnets and a final left. Managed to avoid a "Turkey Coma" this year, only to lose a cold before Thanksgiving and feel a tad crummy right now. Probably need to get warm and sleep, it's cold at night here now. Anything below 50 + the cerebral palsy = joint pain. Yech! But no need to gripe, I'm alive and well. I'm interested in seeing where a new idea goes before I forget about it.

    Happy Holidays, my friend...

The hungers that we feed this night
    Are our eternal flame
No need for conscience or regret
Far past the need for shame
    The night is ours eternally..
    And all that may transpire
I am your weakness and your strength
    For I am your vampire.

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my new erotic horror novel THE 13TH is now in stores everywhere! I hope you'll check out this debauched and demonic horror ride!

There's even a website devoted just to the book, with an interactive map of the places and characters at www.the13th-horror.com.

Edward Lee called THE 13TH "A double-barreled shotgun blast of macabre entertainment -- an expert amalgamation of grotesquerie, eroticism, mystery, and pitch-black occult horror that no fan of the genre can miss."

And Gary A. Braunbeck said, "John Everson's The 13th is the first out-and-out horror novel in a long while to actually scare the **** out of me while reading it. It's stylish, extremely well-written, filled with richly-drawn characterizations, and boasts a labyrinthine plot worthy of Umberto Eco. Trust me -- this one will fry your nerves and break your heart."

No longer any use to pretend
Where you begin and where I end
Through blood and passion we are bound
    No separation to be found
We joined our souls that fateful night
With one long kiss and one sweet bite
No longer is there "you" or "me"
There is just us..there is just "we"
One single soul from two was formed
The coldest heart now safe and warmed
There is no force to break this bond
    We're one forever...and beyond

Hey Rachel, I'm glad to hear that your NaNo story is coming along. Even though you're behind, 15,000 + words is an achievement. With everything else going on, at least you have some time to write. Sorry work has gotten a bit hectic again. But hey, don't worry about the banner. I can always make another one. I am doing quite well, just catching up in class after being sick last weekend. I had aches and chills and was scared of the Flu or something. But one dose of NyQuil and a good night's rest later, all was well. Therefore, I spent Monday into Wednesday around town with some college mates. We pretty much hung out, took a drive, and got into some trouble. Then I crammed homework for this morning into last night, late. I also started a new project Sunday, another novel possibility about urban high school. We'll see where that goes. What else is on your end?

Hey Rach, how are you? How's NaNo going? I was wondering if you have a copy of my banner for "Mage" in your computer? If not, I'll just recreate the thing. :)

Another week has come and gone
Relentless hands of time  move on
Sometimes it seems too hard a chore
We want to  stop and fight no more
But whether it bring joy or sorrow
I'll always want one more tomorrow.

May you have a  great weekend, filled with nothing but pleasant possibilities.  Rick

Thank you for the comment, hun! You're right, I have the rest of my life for "experiences"--school's important. I've been doing near constant thinking since I posted that blog, and I believe my main issue is that I need to reprioritize. Reprioritize and take it easy. I need to keep telling myself that...THANK YOU FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT. Your words made me smile. I'll think things through as you've said.

I added you.  Mine's Lelluriennian.  ^_^  I didn't get any writing done today, but I did get a 'general-plot-idea' ball rolling around in my head.  XD
