About me:
Common man Uncommon thoughts. The uncommonsense podcast is a viewpoint from outside the box. I talk about politics, Technology, philosophy, science fiction , TV and movies & a slice of my life. http://www.scottpodcast.com
I am comfortable behind the mike. This comes from many years behin one. I believe that my interests in ham radio, tape exchange, and radio broadcasting have lead me to this world of podcasting. I am now passionate about it and I think it shows.
I have been told I have a unique perspective on things. I would like to share that and more via this podcast. I intent to entertain as well as inform. I will be adding a tutorial podcast as a part of this feed. I have taught in the past on such topics as computer security, ebay, and other high tech topics. I try to make it easy so anyone can understand.
I also enjoy helping people struggling to have a happy and successful life. Sometimes all you need is a change in how you view things. As I said above I tend to be a bit outside the box. I find this an advantage and use it to help when and where I can.
Communication is what makes the world go round. I am a communications junky who is involved in many types of communicating. I work in television broadcasting in master control. I also provide Computer consulting services as a home business. I am a licensed Ham radio operator. Besides Ham radio I have been talking to people for years via tape recorders. Over the years this evolved from reel to reel to cassette and more recently went digital and over the internet. I still talk with friends in a group we started in the tape days called TRA. We now communicate using digital voice files I make these using a portable player recorder called an EGO. I am trying to promote this enjoyable hobby of digital voice file exchange.
