I was thinking about what a great guitar player you are and having had the pleasure of meeting you twice. Do you have any plans to play in Canada or USA in the near future. I think 93 was the last time I saw the Stranglers in St. Catharines, the town where I grew up. I was quite disappointed when I arrived at a venue in Toronto in the late 90's for one of your shows and there was a cancelled sign posted at the entrance.
Thanx for spacefriendship! You may think im a old boring punk rocker! I just love the first Vibrators album and the guitars you and Knox play!!! Cheers/John thebassplayer
I second that wise emotion. Magnificent songs from the great John Ellis. Cheers from the Bizarro Congo where it's so hot that the dogs haven't the energy to bark.
Well we'll surely come to see you. We have a small venue in liverpool if you are ever passing:-) We are only a few months old really so no record yet..probably have to release our own as no blighter is likely to take the risk on letting us lose on the x factor generation. We recorded a couple more tracks last week hopefully the week after next we'll have a couple more. That's enough for an album. We have a cd if you fancy a copy no charge as we don't have the courage:-) Are you using the boss loop station thingy? They look great fun.
wow i grew up listening to your first band and Colin's guilty secret is Peter Hammell. Tom Robinson recently described us as sounding like Peter Gabriel and Steve Reich having an acoustic jam. I find it well wierd that we have ended up in the same place in our journey given were we started from;-) Give us a quick listen I think you'll like it. I love your guitar playing up there with Richard Thompson anyday.
