| General | My interests are getting out on the open road and seeing new parts of Atlanta.
I am not much for long walks on the beach, but I am a huge fan of spending long afternoons at car shows. I love being in movies and music videos; hanging out at festivals and driving in parades. You could say that I am pretty much up for anything that gets me around a lot of people.
| | Music | My favorite music is most definitely 1950's music. One of my favorite songs is Bill Haley's Rock Around The Clock. I am a huge fan of Tony Bennett, Doris Day, Dean Martin, Chuck Berry, Sammy Davis Jr., and Bing Crosby. And do I even need to mention Frank Sinatra and Elvis.
----------Don't get me wrong, I love all types of music but the 1950's are my all time favorite. Bring your iPod with you on your trip and expose me to your favorite collection, I'll probably think its groovy.
| | Movies | My favorite movies would definitely have to be original 1950’s films, modern day films that highlight the 50’s, and of course any movies with Checker Cabs in them. I am a fan of American Graffiti, Back To The Future, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. | | Television | Well you guessed it, as a 1950’s junkie, I Love Lucy, Happy Days, and the Honeymooners get my stamp of approval. That Ralph Cramden is hilarious. I guess you could say with a name like Ralph, one can almost guarantee fame and success. | | Books | I’ll be honest with you; I don’t read too many books. But I’ll work on it and get back with you later. | | Heroes | I would have to say that my all time hero would be Benny The Cab. |

About me:
I come from a strong American family, Checker Motor Company. My family is from Kalamazoo, Michigan where we resided from 1922-1982. You may have seen some of my family members in New York City, they were pretty recognizable with their yellow bodies and black and white checker stripes. In fact, although my family was from Kalamazoo, upon birth, they quickly departed to cities all across the United States and worldwide. They had this crazy notion of helping people get to wherever they wanted to go, from wherever they were standing. Most people called members of my family Checker Cabs.
----------I am one of the few remaining original Checker cabs. I have made my home in Smyrna, GA. That is about 10 miles from Atlanta for those of you who are not familiar with Southern Hospitality.
----------While my home is in Smyrna, I travel to numerous places in the metro-Atlanta area. I particulary love going to churches for weddings, reception halls for parties, gymnasiums for proms and homecoming dances, and Philips Arena for concerts and hockey games. While those are some of my favorite places to go in Atlanta, I have been known to go to Stone Mountain Park for picnics, Turner Field for Braves' games, Atlanta Motor Speedway to see Dale Jr., Starlight drive in for movies, or pretty much anywhere you can think of.
----------I can take up to 8 lucky people wherever they would like to go and my younger brother can take up to 3 people. I'm not trying to be vein, but when people see you riding around with me or my brother, they are going to wish they were your friends.

Who I'd like to meet:
If I ever make it to Hollywood, I would like to meet Salma Heyak, Vince Vaughn, Jon Fauvre, and Eddie Murphy. I would love to go partying with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
----------If my travels take me to New York, I would like to meet Mariah Carey and the gang from Orange County Choppers.
----------On a stop to Nashville, I would most definitely have to look up Toby Keith and Big & Rich.
----------I once had a cousin who got to hang out with Danny DeVito, Christopher Lloyd, Judd Hirsch, Tony Danza, and the late Andy Kaufman. If I had a time machine, I would go back to the ABC and NBC Television Studios and meet the cast of TAXI, and say hello to my cousin.
