Tim's Interests
|
| General | Work. I write a LOT. Comedy is my favorite, but pay the bills with other things like advertising. I do audio production at home, hoping to drift into video this year. My website has the full story, at www.wackyweek.com and stop by my blog at www.whatastupidnameforawebsite.com | | Music | You wouldn't believer the diversity of my I-Pod. Very little rap, classical gets old quick, opera--just shoot me now---favorite band at the moment: The Killers | | Movies | Comedies are king, but love a well-told drama. Guilty pleasure would have to be horror films, but ones that scare not gore you. | | Television | Pop culture stuff for the writing, comedy always a fave.
"Lost", "Desperate Housewives", "Family Guy", "Two and a half Men", College Football and Basketball ("Go Huskies"), pro football ("Go Hawks") and a recovering baseball fan.
I plan to be a Husky football fan when they get a team.
By the way, the love of my life has turned me on to "House". Extremely fun, well-written show. | | Books | I think the idea behind them is good, but I'm a video/audio guy. I read tons of short-form stuff every morning for one of my jobs, so reading to relax feels more like work. I'm more an "on vacation" recorder. The trick is actually going on a vacation. | | Heroes | Not a bad show, but I don't see how saving a cheerleader can save the world.
Oh, THOSE! Sports, outdoors, making every day count. Sleep is appreciated but over-rated. |

Tim's Blurbs |
About me:
I'm one of those Southern California refugees who came up to Seattle after high school and fell in love with the green.
I have two grown kids that live in the area and a beautiful wife named Victoria, who I married just a year ago.
|
Who I'd like to meet:
I launched this page during my brief stint at being single. Since then, I met the love of my life. Like I've told her, in my head, SOME DAY, I was going to meet someone that I connected with on a level I've never experienced before. I figured it would be years down the line, so no worries...I'll just be a workaholic until then.
Dates here and there were fun, but there were connections...UNTIL....a setup that was billed as "not a setup".
Even though I'm a writer, it's still impossible to put into words all that I've been feeling. Right about now, guys are heading for the hockey scores...but the bottom line is, when THE person comes along in your life, you've got that one chance to make sure she doesn't get away. I'm taking that chance.
If you're still looking for that one to show up in your life, be patient. Everything that happens up until that point is to prepare you and make you appreciate that connection even more.
