Don't forget to watch "Wade's World" on channel 12, every Saturday at 6:30 pm. You will really get a kick out of it!
In 2006 Wade Hill will celebrate 32 years as a professional musician! In that time has entertained hundreds of thousands of people across the U.S. and Canada, having performed at such places as the Washington Monument, The 1982 Worlds Fair and New York City to name just a few.
After going through the fat file of promos and bio that Wade sent me, one thing stands out. This is a musician that has been around! His credits range from Jimmy Arnold, Carl and Pearl Butler, Webb Pierce, Jimmy Martin and Josh Graves, just to name a few.
His original songs like Fox Fire and Railroad Man are knee slappin’ toe tappin’ get up and dance tunes. While songs like Cold Cold Clay and Girl from West Virgina are very reminiscent of Grand Ole Opry style with a quality that says “Two step your way my way”.
Then like he was crossing the road, he spits out country rock that feels like Elvis with out an ego. Drinkin Whiskey in Vegas and Back in the Light combine old Rock and Roll rhythms with a country flavor that makes you look for a dance partner.
His music has gottin rave reviews starting at the young age of fourteen up until the time your reading this one. He seems to have a network of players that keep the music interesting and up to date. Now don’t just take my word for it, you can check Wade Hill’s music out at http://betarecords/wadehill
You can also hear him as a regular on 90.7 fm, a local country/rock and roll/bluegrass/independent local radio station of the Great Smoky Mountains.
