About me:
I work out of the backyard of my home in the hot desert of Arizona creating mosaic art. I started out making mosaics as a hobby. I was immediately hooked and thus it became my life and my passion. My body of work includes abstracts, landscapes, outdoor art, and my personal favorites, portraits of blues musicians.
My work has been chosen by The Society of American Mosaic Artists to appear in juried shows in Chicago, Washington D.C.and Mesa, AZ. IF you are interested in learning how to make your own mosaic, I am teaching mosaic classes at the Mesa Center for the Arts. I can be contacted through this site or e-mail me at (debbi10451@aol.com) if you are interested in a custom created mosaic or purchasing any piece on this site.

Hi! Sorry, my job has overwhelmed me just lately including some out of state travel. We were thinking of a week day because of Darci's days off - we could try next Thur 10/23 afternoon.
Tiffany Fairall, the assc curator that I was hoping we could chat with is away on vacation until the end of the month. I have biz travel 11/5-10, so we could do it when I get back.
I want to do it when we have time to enjoy and hang out a bit :)
well i think its lovely! and if you do get a better pic so you can see the gold better, let me know so i can check it out, because i can't imagine this one looking better than it already does!
If I can finish it in time, it is an ancient meets modern kinda thing......unlike any other I have ever seen! Pretty wild if I do say so myself;-) I will post some pics when I'm done.
i was just looking at your work again - really beautiful! thanks for the add... i'll hafta look in occasionally just for a dose of those flowers. gorgeous!
Hey sweetie, thanks. Been teaching myself to draw (handy for an artist I thought) and this is a drawing I made from a memory. Rainy day in a hotel room in dowtown Dallas. So the answer to your question is yes AND no. More new pieces at http://www. flickr. com/photos/inmotionmosaics/
I love the way you have worked the landscape into your mosaics! I live in the desert too and it does have its beauty. You have expressed it well here! Thanks for the add!
Doyle Bramhall II check out his bio...it's quite impressive...i have friend who are HUGE fans of his...the went to a show in l.a. at sat a table away from Eric Clapton in the audience!I like his stuff but i'm no die hard fan. I have never seen him live though
I need a new project. About 5 more days of wrapping up work re/ Grandpas death and I'm diving deep into Art, My Husband and Kids and editing my "stuff"....especially after going through my Grandpa's things. I really want to get a studio tour going if not for this year for next year! I really think it will make the public more aware of the glass community and what we do! Time is ticking away for this November and having this major detour has set back my plans. another subject...Are you going to see Doyle on Sept 19th?
I'm so excited that you're coming home tomorrow! I've missed my favorite neighbor! What sucks is I work all weekend and have plans Saturday night with my brother and Sunday night with a work friend's birthday party. But maybe a quick few minutes if you're home tomorrow between 4-7 pm, or Monday sometime during the day. Call me! I've missed our girl time!!!
