I once lost a spelling bee in the third grade and to this day I hate the word colonel. Like a fine wine, I was once just mere grapes... For some reason everytime
during take off aboard a plane I always hear the opening medley of "Sweet Home Alabama" which freaks me out. I’ve always wanted to start and be the lead singer of my own 80’s cover band – “Miscellaneous 80’s”. I think we would go far in a tone deaf world. When I
was little my mother used to try and scare me by telling me that in jail they only fed you bread and buttter - she
stopped once she figured out how much I love bread and butter. I am a very curious person; so I've been known to
research my questions for days until I find an answer. I can almost hear the OCD knocking. I am a proud
recipient of the Montgomery Burns Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Excellence. I love all people and I love to help all people. But not before noon.
I run a mile every other day while listening
to the theme from Raiders of the Lost Ark. I am in the best shape of my life since I started jogging with Indy.
I suffer from the occasional bouts with what's that called again, umm oh yeah.... lethologica. High Fructose Corn Syrup is my sworn enemy. But why must it taste so good in my Apple Jacks! I strive
to be a polyglot. When meeting new people so much gets lost in the translation. I've been to 48 out of 50
States - Alaska you're too far away and Oklahoma, well you're Oklahoma. I've learned my lesson well - see you
can't please everyone; so you got to please yourself. My favorite architect is I.M Pei – not just for his work, but also for having a cool name. My favorite spots on the planet (as of now) are Fort
Desoto Park, the islands of Hawaii, Central Park and Museum Mile in the City, Walden Pond, White Sands,St. Lucia, Villefranche-sur-Mer

My favorite possession is my Magic Bullet blender, if you scoff at
that you apparently have never made a smoothie in one. I’ve done stuff I ain’t proud of, and the stuff I am
proud of….. is disgusting. Please me, tease me, go ahead and leave me. I love to cook, but I hate to clean up after myself. Or clean but not cook. I guess
it's a whole ying and yang thing. It never fails - I always start packing the very last second possible before I
leave on a trip.
I think the smartest thing Henry Ward Beecher ever said was "the art of being happy lies in the power of
extracting happiness from common things." I am sucker for beautiful eyes, smiles and accents - how my last ex
slipped through I'll never know.
I strongly believe the Italians have it right when they say "Dolce far Niente."

In the end I am just trying to live a bonhomie existence and enjoy my second chance at life to it's fullest.

And loosen up, have some fun! Yes, sleep when you feel like it, not when you think you should. Eat food that is bad for
you - at least once in a while. Have conversations with people whose clothes are not color coordinated. Make love in
a hammock! Life is the ultimate experience, and you have to live it to write about it.

The back injury I was telling you about in my last comment, well, its resulted in a trip to the doctors and 3 ER visits...and I have a follow up with an orthopaedic surgeon on Monday. Hahaha...I think the spoiling has begun! Your Petite couldn't win a foot race with a 90 year old granny at present time! Hahaha. Fill me in on everything with you! How close is the magazine to being finished? I really can't wait to see the final product!! How is everything with you and Dy? Do you have any visits planned to the States yet?!?!? My dear Island Boy...I'm so sorry that its taken me so long to respond!! Things here have been a little crazy!! I sprained (at least as far as the ER dr. could tell...x-rays and a follow-up with an orthopaedic surgeon might reveal more...who knows?) my back last week at work (they had your Petite lifting and moving heavy boxes for 6 hours!!), so I've been kind of out of it on lovely cocktails of steriods, painkillers, and muscle relaxers! Hahaha. Other than that, though, everything is absolutely wonderful, and I'm loving my life in VA! I do VERY much miss that old days of staying away and chatting until our eyes got droopy in the wee hours of the morning, though! WE really had some of the greatest conversations!! I'm so glad to hear that everything is going well with the magazine, and that its coming along!! I still really want a copy of the finished product!! I absolutely can't wait to see the culmination of everything that the past months have been leading up to for you!! And I can't wait to beam with pride when I show everyone what my Jack had produced! How is everything going for you, otherwise? How is Dy, and how is everything going with the two of you? How is my Hero doing? And my "almost twin?" How are her wedding plans coming along? Jack!!! I am so sorry that I haven't called you! I began to get a toothache last night, and woke up in excruciating pain this morning. My dentist fit me in between appointments this afternoon, and it turns out I fractured a tooth (I think while stunting with the girls last night, but I didn't notice it at the time). He had to begin a root canal, which still needs to be finished, and he put me on 1,500 mg of antibiotics daily. So, I've been a mess! Hahaha. However, as soon as it doesn't hurt to talk, I'll give you a ring!! Rose loves and misses you!!!!
