Waiting for T.I.M. is a South Lake Tahoe based band with influences from every genre of music. Pulling material from the last 60 years and combining it with their own unique sound, they have succeeded in creating truly different, but undeniably riveting dance music.
Their energetic melodies are propelled by the furiously driven Cary White on the drums. A Tahoe local and M.I. graduate, White brings an almost mathmatical sense of rythym and precision to the band.
On bass guitar lurks Kurt Peckler. Originally from Mokelumne Hill CA, he moved to Tahoe to pursue snow and music. Kurt's style is very ethereal, creating a undertow of funky licks that seem to float from one pattern to another.
On vocals and guitars stand Jason Lampman and Daniel Green. Green, also a Tahoe local met Lampman while studying at the Milwaukee Conservatory of Music. Both possess a charismatic stage presence, and a seemingly endless supply of riffs and lyrics. With songs reminiscent of acts varying from Herbie Hancock to Ice Cube to the Grateful Dead, they are guaranteed to exceed any musical expectations their audience holds. Be sure to keep an ear listening and an eye open for this up and coming group.
