“Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas ... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.”
Waiting for Vega were formed late 2006 when 4 'normal' guys went into a room, made some loud noises, liked said noises and memorized them in a particular order.
To put a generic label or cliche genre on their music would be selling the songs short. They can go from sweeping atmospheric melody to crushing rhythms and aggressive riffery in the blink of an eye, setting the foundation for mountains of layered vocals and dynamic & uplifting choruses. All of which is reinforced with an aggressive and genuine live performance.
It's fair to say that this bio would give the impression that the lads' heads are up their arses so they now roam the country in search of that sneaky elusive member that can write convincing bios.
