Hi there.
Hope all is well with you. Prepare your ears and heart for some new
compositions from Cybiont. “Demon on my shoulder” is a dark
tune. ‘What happened to the time’? is a kind of a jazzy industrial
cabaret. Both in their crude versions – rough mixes. Additionally the debut
album has been completed and we just got the 2 first reviews in. Welcome over
for a visit:) Looking forward to your comments

The ABC Club (formerly the debuts)- Combining shoegaze guitars and ethereal vocals Halifax's ABC club recently featured as Steve Lamaq's radio1 demo of the week.

Vessels-With a scorching live reputation and their new album currently receiving rave reviews in the national press, Vessels are surely destined for big things in 2008. 'Tumbling drums, intertwined arpegios and massive blisters of heavy rock, Vessels are special enough to be all things to all fans of modern epic progressive music' Manchester Music
Brenda- 'With an Oceansize ear for melody, these guys are a stunning addition to the post rock genre, ones to watch!Subbacultcha single of the week
Golden Diskó Ship combines a mass of instruments and found objects (guitars, viola, glockenspiel, sticky tape, compact disc cases, toys…) together with perfectly crafted laptop electronica to form a world of beautiful, original and individual music - “…dreamy, experimental folk electronica that sounds like walking on the beach with the sun in your eyes."
The Declining Winter is the musical project of Richard Vincent Adams of Leeds UK, the co-founder of the continuing group Hood and a full time stricken office worker. What does it sound like? Richard says "cassette tapes spilling out of the glovebox of a 1970's Datsun Sunny somewhere in the north of England, captured on Super 8 film". He's not far off. Live he is joined by a few more people to bring the beautiful pastoral feel to life. Wonderful stuff.
Hands and Fingers makes minimally gorgeous cerebral music. He mixes samples, acoustic guitars, glockenspiel and ambient atmospheres with drum breaks that have been described as "Tortoise having a fight with Four Tet in the dark, with John Bonham trying to split them up". It's ace. Very ace.
A Forest of Sound presentation. It’s £4 on the door, doors are 8pm.
Hey Waka! Hope you're good mate. Be ace if you can make this...

Detroit Public Radio: Chicago Broadcast With: Chicago's Jamal Moss (Members Only, Hierogliphic Being, Axis, SameSoulDifferentBody Imprint, Africans With Mainframes). And residents Spandex valley. Music Box, Oxford Road, Manchester 10PM-4AM Friday 15th February. £7
....one of the last DJ's to be inspired by the late Ron Hardy and chicago's seminal Music Box nightclub. Jamal has gone under many different guises through the years, African's With Mainframes, Hierogliphic Being... and has recorded for many a label, Mathematics Records, Axis, SameSoulDifferentBody Imprint. More recently, his Members Only edits, directly inspired by Ron Hardy's mashups, have been causing dancefloor chaos for the more deeper house heads. Jamals DJ sets, and mainly the Sample:reForm mix series became famous for being live, rough and analog. He used belt drive decks, MPC samplers alongside drum machines and effects mixing techno, disco and classic loft party anthems, often re-editing tracks live. Mentored by the likes of Adornis and Armando, this is a chance to see a real legend, and a rare breed of DJ that is dying out fast.
