In the summer of 2002, Adam, Knas T and Brent helped form a cover band called Loaded Dice. Loaded Dice, while fun, was not at all what they were looking for and over time they grew apart from their other two bandmates in hopes of creating original music from their collective conciousness. They began to create their own music with their own sound. They found that the music they were creating was totally different from any other bands they had heard. They had truly taken bits and pieces of many of their different influences and began formulating what would become the Wakamojo sound.
Eventually, long time friend, Conley Feaster, was brought into the fold as the percussionist to help fill out the sound. He fit right in and literally one week after he started jamming with them, he played his first show. Marcus Sharri joined Wakamojo in the summer of 2008. Marcus a long time contributor and friend of the band was brought into the fold after much coaxing. Marcus goes way back with Adam and Knas-T and his talents had long been sought after to join the band. Due to several time conflicts it never worked out...until now.
Brent left the band due to a relocation and Max was brought on for vocal duties. He rounds out the lineup on rhythm guitar as well. We are fortunate to have him on board.
Wakamojo has successfully toured throughout the midwest as well as the great state of Texas. They look forward to playing as often as possible and expanding their horizons to play new and different places whenever they can.
