Feeling Undone

THE STORY SO FAR

Paul Pazza Godfrey (Bass player form the Ozric Tentacles) and Jonny Morgan (drummer with Senser and Moke) had been working informally with singer / songwriter (and guitarist) Paul Goldsmith for a number of years and in the Summer of 2003 decided the time was right to record an EP.

While rehearsing at Scream Studios in London they became friends with violinist Jenny Newton and the acoustic driven, uplifting sound of WAKE was formed. In a short space of time they had recorded 14 songs and picked an initial 6 for the first EP.

After playing a series of gigs to help promote the music, towards the end of 2004 the band decided to work on their first album, Speak Like You Mean It.

Now playing a series of acoustic and electric live shows delivering a beautiful but haunting sound capped with great melodies and hooks and a not insignificant rockier edge creeping in with the newer material.
