After directing "RevoLOUtion" (http://www.AreYouLOU.com) a movie which Bill Conti (Rocky Composer) had me write lyrics to, I watched this master put together a song with such EASE and PASSION... and this took away the fear of having such a beautiful creative force flow through me. So, for the last few months I've been waking up with songs inspired by loves and nature... I've never been on pitch or on beat in my life, and had a pscychological block to music until christmas this year. So I'm taking voice lessons, and some new friends are appearing who can pluck and strum and blow and bang. And musicians are the coolest community of artists I've found. I feel like I've found home. Enjoy joining me on my journey, following the progress - All of these songs are Garage Band recordings, and I claim no knowledge of what I'm doing but let me know your thoughts... and I look forward to sharing the feelings that are important to me, with you. I'd like to add that the first inspiration for many of these songs comes in the twilight... in dreams... and wake is a bon budhist reference where everynight is a chance to practice dying by becoming awake in your dreams. Lucid. And flying. And my first song came out that way, in a shack over topanga creek in which Morrison, Hendrix, and Manson used to jam. So for our first mission: Lets save the Breeders of Dreams.
