Wake The Fallen was originally formed in the late spring of 2005 by 4 remaining original members of the disbanded Christian rock band Refuge. Aaron Stone, Mat Stone, Karsen, and Bryan May joined by David Taylor worked towards creating a passionate "in-your-face" style of rock that many believed to be vacant from North Carolinas already thriving music scene. Once re-tooled, WTF enjoyed moderate success on a regional level playing many shows, festivals, and doing the usual "trying to take over the world." In November 2006, three of the five original members left the band in pursuit of other ventures and personal happiness. Two of the five founding members have carried on. In December of 2006 guitarist Jason Hanna joined WTF and along w/ vocalist Aaron Stone and guitarist Mat Stone began to write some of the most creative, experimental, and passionate music in their history. In late January 2007, drummer Karsen re-joined the band with a new fire and passion followed by Bassist Ryan Hunter in May of 07.
While in the midst of a new chapter in their history, WTF continues to strive to change the world. Believing that there is a reason for the love and passion they have been given for the music they make, WTF continues to experiment with the marriage of melody and tone, force and freedom, love and hate, failure and success....... Wake The Fallen will challenge and move you in the days to come......

So it's 4AM as I am walking back into the control room and I noticed Boris has just knocked Gordon down after a heated debate over whether the coffee in the studio was decaf or regular. I assumed after many attempts to "wake the fallen" producer it was decaf. For some strange reason I thought of you guys. hmmm...curious...
