Wake the watchman hopefully. I draw quite a bit of my musicalness from Jeremy Enigk. You'll also hear some Beatle influences and many others, but hopefully im not ripping anyone off too much.
Wake the watchman consists of one band member and his name is Pete
Carr. Pete is highly influenced by artists such as
The Beatles, Jeremy Enigk, David Bazan, Elliott Smith and Death Cab
for Cutie (just to mention a few.)
Listening to Wake the watchman, you'll be captured by the creative
songwriting which is accompanied by either spontaneous or well thought
out lyrics (it's up to you to decide). There's a touch of Rock and a
touch of Folk to his music, but ultimately Pete has got a bunch of
melodic pop songs that are dying to be heard.
Catch a show if you can..

That would be lovely
I'm out of credit! So the story is that we have to record vocals for the 4 songs before we lay down the lap steel. This is so his parts do not clash with your vocal melody, so he can play around your vox without getting in the way, dig? All we need to do then is just lay down guide vocals, are you free Friday? I'm REALLY busy so this is the only day I can do. I've asked him to come in Monday-Tuesday next week.
Hey Pete! Which show did you catch up in Numerkah? Great that you enjoyed it :) i just had a listen to all your tracks. beautiful songwriting mate. It's rare that bands site the Beatles as a reference then actually end up sounding anything like them - but you do! I can definately hear McCartney's incfluence in your chord progressions, which is a great thing. congrats mate! ill look forward to hearing your songs produced and released officially! any plans to record soon?
