Wake-Up Call (NOW BOOKING!)

Wake-Up Call is a pop-rock band from Montreal, Quebec. They are a talented foursome that have shown advanced music creativity and song-writing ability that bands can only dream of developing through decades of practice.

Founded in 2004 by front man Brendan Lucas and former drummer, the group started with a passion for writing and playing music. Along the way, they recruited bassist Mark Cheung whose been with the band since October 2005. The band made huge progress in the Montreal scene and eventually caught the attention of CTV's Entertainment Spotlight, 94.7 Hits FM, and performed many charity benefits. In late 2007, guitarist Gianfranco Saltarelli was added to the roster.

In 2009 when the original drummer left, the search for his replacement began and in April 2009 Wake-Up Call was proud to announce the 2008 Drum Kombat winner Volodia Schneider as their new drummer. His technical style and remarkable ability became the key ingredients to finish the band's first full length album "Sign of Light" which was released on December 5th, 2009, and digitally released January 12th, 2010.

After many months of shows the band began writing again, the guys have officially announced that they would return to studio in December 2010, for what would be a 2011 exclusive EP release featuring new pop-rock hits sure to not only please the current fan base, but attract many more. Wake-Up Call has made great strides in a small time-frame, multiple radio appearances, interviews, newspaper features, many live appearances in significant venues and events and has caught the eyes of the music industry.
