We've been fortunate enough to play with Danananaykroyd, Tall Ships, Jeniferever, UpcDowncLeftcRightcabc+start, Wise Children, Maybeshewill, Andsoiwatchyoufromafar and Portugal. The Man. They are all wonderful. ....We would like more shows, anywhere and everywhere...
-------- Words --------
"The first (and arguably second best band of the night) being instrumental post-rock act WAKING AIDA. While those adjectives may prompt a snore-fest from many of you, they are far more of the 65DaysOfStatic stable than the Godspeed You! Black Emperor extended noise sessions, mixing as they do, looped math-rock stylings into what is meant to be only their fourth gig ever. Definitely worth a listen."

''Next up were Waking Aida, the organising force behind the evening’s entertainment. The group, made up of current and former students, have already played support slots at Joiners and Hamptons, and have even travelled as far afield as Chichester. You might have thought that instrumental post-rock wouldn’t be ideal for a Friday night houseparty – think again. Their set was flawlessly performed, and well received by all, with one guitarist even making an impromptu sortie into the crowd: the house-gig equivalent of the stage dive, perhaps. All four band members are extremely talented musicians, and their technical abilities, mixed with judicious use of effects pedals, creates soundscapes reminiscent of 65daysofstatic.''
