Sambathunder - We fight with the trumpet in one hand and the drumsticks in the other to find a sound balancing somewhere between the striking and the soothing. We sing about living mansions and reincarnation.
And we are in love with you.
We are currently working on the songs that we intend to put on our debut album.
We are very busy, but we are busy with music, and music is freedom and so we are free.

In November 2008 we went to a large cabin in the woods in the area around Rørvig where we pre-recorded a lot of the songs that we intend to put on our debutalbum.

Biography:
Waking Life was formed in 2003 in Aabenraa in Southern Denmark but moved to Copenagen in 2006.
In 2007 Waking Life won the Emergenza Festival in Denmark.
In 2008 Waking Life was selected to play at Oppenheimers Eftermiddag at Voxhall in Århus. Read a review here

Jeg har boet i Paris i godt og vel halvandet aar, men nu er det snart paa tide, at tage til KBH. Saa det goer jeg i naeste maaned. Der bliver det nok nemmere at ses paa en gade.. eller til en koncert.
Jeg haaber at alt gaar godt med jer alle i WL (selvom jeg stadigvaek er bange for Matthias, eftersom han, den foerste og eneste gang jeg snakkede med ham, naevnte, at han havde en masse knive hjemme i hans skuffe).
hey WL. mærkelig scene at putte et 'danse/hoppe/vær igang-band' på til Spot. men det har vel sat tanker igang hos jer også om hvordan I tackler sådan en omgang en anden gang? kunne ikke joine jer til Start grundet arbejde, opgaveskrivning og eksamensforberedelse :( men håber det gik fantastisk! og håber at jeg snart kan nyde en koncert af jer igen. ses lige pludselig til balloner og gøgl.
