Waking Myth was founded by Josh near the end of 2007. After going through numerous members and attempts, Waking Myth fell apart. In February of 2009, he decided it was time to try again, this time with some people that really wanted to play! Two guitar spots were filled almost immediately with DJ and Anthony joining. Shortly after, Andy, who drummed with the band when it was originally formed, was called to see if he would be interested in filling in the spot on drums again and he was all for it. After searching for a bassist for a while, DJ came across Mike. Mike came to practice to try out and was given the spot shortly after. After a couple songs were complete, Josh talked to Anthony about Anthony's friend Payge coming in to sing. She as well immediately took the offer, tried out, and was soon a part of the family. As the summer of 2009 approached, Andy graduated High School and was getting ready for college. Between that and his full time job, we mutually decided it was time to find a new drummer. Denver came in to fill in for the remainder of the summer before he went off to school as well. His short time with us was amazing and we were glad to have him a part of the band! At the beginning of August, Zach joined the band giving us a complete and permanent lineup.
