William Vincent - Guitar, Bass, Banjitar, Ukelele, Q Chord, Percussion, Lead and Harmony Vocals, and pretty much anything else I need to get the sound I want.
Influences
John Denver, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Peter, Paul and Mary, Josh Groban, Willie Nelson, Joe Feeny, Glen Campbell, Michael Buble, James Taylor, Chuck Jones, Marc Alan Barnett, Melody Guy, Ray Sisk, Mac Elliott, Mark Stephen Jones, Don and Karen McNatt, Jeff Dayton, and the myriad of talented writers and performers I meet along my journey.
Born into a military family, William Vincent spent his early years in Okinawa, Florida, and Arizona before his family finally settled in California. Early exposure to a variety of cultures and musical genres ranging from classical to folk to country gave William an appreciation for beautiful melodies and lyrical imagery. Having been singing for most of his life, William began writing in 2005, after being encouraged by his wife, Kitt. Those who have heard him perform have compared his music to Willie Nelson, Woodie Guthrie, and John Denver.
