Walboomers Music was established by the brothers Walboomers in 1996. Rapidly after take-off the company makes name as wholesale company and distributor for a wide range of Reggae, Hip Hop, Latin and World Music labels and products. After the succes of these core activities launched Walboomers Records released an impressive series of unique Reggae and Hip Hop records on vinyl. When the label became recognized for its releases if started to release more and more Reggae, Latin, and Urban music on compact disc.
Nowadays the focus of Walboomers Records has moved to Urban music releases by Dutch artists. By doing this the company fullfilled an important episode in the succes story of contemporary of Dutch Urban music in the Netherlands of the past few years.
At the time Walboomers Records started signing more and more exclusive artists it realized the necessity to become active a music publisher and founded Walboomers Publishing with the same substantial succes as experienced in the other activities of the company.
To able to move even more forward, offer signed artists more facilties, and keeping control of business the next phase was the opening of an internal booking agency named Crunchtime Music.
In the same year the booking agency was created Walboomers Music opened it own midi recording studio C-Level which was recently renamed to Walbooming Studio and became active as a management company for producers and artists.
The focus of Walboomers Music group has been, is and will be on Urban, Caribbean, Latin, and World music. So far they have been responsible for national and/or international succes for arriving and established artists and groups such as Sean Paul, Aventura, Lange Frans & Baas B, THC, Gerardo Rosales, Alberto Caicedo.
