Hi, I'm Rob Walcher, and welcome to my little space on MySpace. Before I tell you how I'm making boatloads of cash-$10,000 a month is a really slow month-online right now, I'd like to tell you a little bit about what I did. I think that's important because a lot of you are probably in exactly the same boat I was in, but before I started filling that boat with cold, hard cash.
I'm a Doctor of Chiropractic, with a successful practice in San Diego. I'm an actor and a model, and have won awards doing both. But the thing I enjoy most is my internet marketing business and my role as a direct marketing coach. For me, helping someone who is looking to achieve massive change in their lives is the ultimate thrill. Taking someone who is perhaps having trouble with their bills, or even someone who is already somewhat successful but who wants more, and then turning them into millionaires is-for me at least-profoundly rewarding.
I deal with a lot of supposedly successful people every day. Some are my patients. Some are my colleagues. Some are my friends. And some just happen to be in the social circles that I travel in. But among all of these people, there seems to be one common trait.
They are not only unhappy with their lives, but mainly with their careers. First of all-and tell me if I'm wrong here-there is absolutely no security whatsoever. You put in 10, 15, 20 maybe more years into your career-and your life-and one day you come in and they let you go, just like that. Hopefully this hasn't already happened to you, but if it has-especially if it has-please read on. If you haven't been let go, you're probably working your fingers to the bone trying to do all the work your former associates used to handle.
Then of course comes the cost cutting. Sometimes it's benefits, sometimes it's bonuses, and maybe even your salary comes under the knife. The end result after all of this is that you're doing more work for less money, and the trend continues. Add to that the pressure of not knowing when your time is up and the whole thing becomes about as unbearable as it could possibly be. Your job becomes like a time bomb, waiting to go off.
No matter how long you've worked for the company, and no matter how much you earn, you are at their mercy. You may think you have control, but you don't and you never will. Think about it for a minute. If you're an employee-even if you own a little stock-you will always report to someone. No matter how high you rise, there will be always someone over you. Which means that you'll never be fully in control of your destiny.
Of course, simply being self employed is not all fun and games either. Being self employed-if you're successful or hope to be-means working hard. It takes a lot of time and energy to run a successful business of any kind. And all of that effort starts to wear on you, especially after a long career. At some point, your job takes over your life. When that happens, things need to change, because you're no longer in control.
I'm in good shape, I take care of myself and I enjoy life. I wasn't exactly Donald Trump-rich, but I've enjoyed the finer things in life. So when I started looking at where my career was going, and where it had come from, and then thought about where I really wanted it to be going, I realized that there was a huge disconnect. I was on track for a destination that I wanted no part of.
I realized that if I wanted to live the life I've always dreamed of, I'd have to make changes. Major changes. I would have to completely reinvent myself, and reengineer my career in the process. In short, if I wanted to get to where I wanted to go, I had to reengineer my life, my thinking and my approach. And I did-online.
I started to see some amazing success stories. There were real people making money online, and a lot of it. I dug in even more. I found out that more millionaires were created by the internet in the last 5 years than in the total history of mankind. That was a fact that caught my attention. The other amazing thing that many of these fresh-behind-the-ears millionaires were just that-fresh behind the ears. They were young, in some cases painfully so, like under 30.
Online, running your own home based business with a solid system in place, that will never happen. One of the reasons some of these superstars are so successful is because they got tired of being told how to do things the wrong way. By taking the time, effort and skill to build these lead generating engines from scratch, they optimized success in a way that few people could've dreamed. And they did it because they knew they could.
