I like counting speedlines and hatch lines when I'm inking them in.

I also enjoy spinning a 11x17 pencilled page over and over on my drawing table as I ink.

I like to hold my breath when I have the need to ink hair.

I enjoy using stencils to a point that'll drive any anyone else crazy.

My least favorite part of inking is erasing. So to make it fun, I use Kneaded Rubber erasers... 5 to 6 of them all bunched up together so it's a bigger handful. And with each stroke of the eraser, I take off more pencil than if I just used one. The big chunk of erasers covers more surface area. Pure genius!

And when I use too much ink, I just just sit there and watch the blob of ink on the bristol board dry.

TomNguyenArt.com	14 Nis 2009 01:54 are you sure you're using the brush and not the pencil tool? I have CS 3 on my Macbook, and Photoshop 7 on my old PC. They are the same on both versions for me--#19, but it's not the first #19 that pops up as you scroll down the brush list. Are you carefully scrolling through the entire list? It's like the 2nd or third time you see it (#19). Let me know....if that doesn't work, maybe I'll do a screen capture video for you! :D

They are my therapy :D As for my Photoshop sketches....I just use the brush tool...and the specific type of brush is one of the defaults: Number 19, and then I resize to taste. I like it quite a bit for general sketching....Hope this helps!
