About me: There is a crisis happening in our city that affects each and every one of us – poverty is prevalent in our schools, on our streets and in our business communities. Now is the time to come together and bring a larger awareness to the issues of poverty. We all have valuable assets that we can bring to the table – join our campaign and show this city what you can do to help!
Our vision is to rally all forces working against poverty in ONE place for ONE day, highlighting efforts and leaders through IMPACT Opportunties, presentations and keynote speakers, offering the public an entry point into the movement to end poverty in Southeastern Wisconsin and offering those already working in the movement an opportunity to network and to reinvigorate their passion for the work that they do.
Who I'd like to meet: All those who will stand up and walk against poverty, and those that work against poverty at every opportunity. Those that believe in the power of small changes to make large impacts.
I want you to vote, its like democracy - if you participate.
Super Tuesday: DEMOCRACY InACTION! at PROGRESS. 7 new candidates are on display for voting day. Check out the new designs and vote for your favorites here at http://myspace.com/progresslabel or: http://www.progressmedia.org/store/pages.php?pageid=7
Unlike the presidential election your feedback actually matters AND voting for a candidate because the candidate is 'Lookin Good!' is totally rational. Of course like all electronic voting – ‘You vote and We Decide’, and no there's not a paper trail – I’m trying to save the trees!
Please vote for your favorite from each design, have some fun and have friends do the same. We’re only takin votes through the weekend then it’s off to the presses. So waste no time and make your votes count!
We look forward to hearing from all our rawkin constituents & Thanks in advance!!
where exactly do you meet in the grand ave mall?
oh by the way, i just had your VISTA message forwarded to me from someone at the Red Cross... Small world... Huh????
