Walker are a Cardiff based band with an Indie, Punk'N'Roll sound. Their live performances have been described as,
"Furiously entertaining spiky, anthemic, upbeat indie punk-pop" (Meltdown).
Recently recorded 'Sirens' has continued to recieve praise from all areas of the industry including a 'thumbs Up' from Bethan Elfyn (BBC Radio One) and Adam Walton (BBC Radio Wales).
With regular performances around Wales, Festival dates, recent bookings in Big Cities such as, Paris, Manchester, Liverpool, London and Birmingham, the recording of a performance DVD and studio time, the band are very excited and cant wait to get out there and play for you all!
The Launch of our Official Website should take place within the next month or two. T-shirts, badges, CD's/Downloads, Posters, News, Reviews and Listings are all some of the options that will be available!
A Year ago to the day WALKER played together for the first time – after some time of thrashing out their tensions and frustrations through their chosen instruments –classic two guitars, bass and drums – they left the rather dingy, yet historical, practice room feeling like they’d stumbled across a way of expressing their passions, heart and energies. Ultimately however they felt alive by the sound they heard – the one they had created.
Twelve months down the line and these impressionistic thoughts and ideas have been battered and sculpted via much hard work, travelling and enthusiasm into a set of - there’s no need to lie here – classic indie anthems that’ll live forever, think Led Zepplin soaked in salty seawater mixed with urban grit and that’s Walker – that’s rock n roll.
“Expect nothing but passion, soul and heart on your sleeve anthemic indieness from this sublime Cardiff four piece- think Led Zepplin meets Interpol via The Beatles and your still nowhere near describing what is distinctly the Walker sound- just ace (full stop). Destroyed.

Good news for all I have confirmed a photographer to attend all shows, she will take lots of pics of each band and they will all be posted and tagged on here. If you are gonna be a part of our show can you please get as many of your fans and bands your friends with to add to this site and post comments about YOU before and after the gigs as ive been told by the record representative and festival advisors that this site will be their main source of communication and band research not just with me but with all involved. I will be releasing the first dates this week as all the venues I approached confirmed interest and in many cases asked for a running contract to make these shows a weekly or monthly thing at there venue and are negotiating discounted drinks for people who attend aswell!! The more people who join this page the better it is for all of us , I have shortlisted all who replied. Please message me if you have any questions
