San Francisco based lesbian lifestyle magazine - Girlfriends - has placed Milwaukee within the top 50 most lesbian friendly cities in America - in fact labeling Milwaukee as the (then) most lesbian-friendly city in America in a 2001 issue. Recognition like this can no doubt be contributed to the likes of Milwaukee's own Walker's Pint.

Walker's Pint is bursting with personality and culture, featuring live bands/artists, karaoke, open mic night, spoken word poetry, women inspire night, and a live dj on weekends. You'll find yourself staring at the complete wall of dollar bills behind the bar, trying to make out the names and humorous vulgarities written on them by The Pint's wild patrons. If that doesn't catch your eye, surely the tanks and t-shirts hanging above your head warning "Lock Up Your Daughters" will.
