Walkie Talkie USA assembled in the summer of 2006 to play songs written by former Phonocaptor's front man Jason Hutto. The group includes Hutto, Jimmy Griffin, Bryan Hoskins, Joe Meyer, Jordan Heimburger, Sam Meyer, Jeff Gallo, and Tim Sullivan. At any given show there will more than likely be a mixed line up of the mentioned musicians.
Hutto's songs range from blinding frenzy to melancholy, and encompass equal portions of wit, introspection, and brutality. In the live setting, Walkie Talkie USA produce a sound that will reach inside your ribcage and rattle your organs. The band is recording new songs, which should be finished this summer.
