About me: I'm an 'old' lady with many many children. My parents met in a John Birch Society Library bookstore so I'm genetically incapable of being a pro-abortion liberal. I married my high school sweetheart. My husband is half Klingon(a New york Italian). I love him with all my heart. I have 12 children, 11 homegrown, 1 adopted and one precious little baby(David) is in heaven.I still visit his grave. I need a house sized shoe. I adore my children. I would have more children if I could. I love to laugh. I laugh a LOT. My kids think I'm wacky. I am..*really*. I'm a Catholic Christian, a wife, a mom, a sister, a daughter, a friend, dreamer, homeschooler, proud American.John Paul II the great is my all time hero (after Jesus, the blessed virgin and St. Anthony, patron saint of mothers with 'momheimers syndrome', of course)
I read *everything*, anything except cheap romance novels OR anything on the 'Oprah Winfrey PC book club' list.
I AM an intellectual snob.
;p
I have this myspace site so I can keep an 'eye' on my kids, but also so I can send them cool notes like 'I love you' to remind them of what's real.I was the kid who always brought strays and injured birds home. I still do. My husband really loves me and embraces my chaos. I would like to foster children someday.
I have a gorgeous Golden Retriever my husband gave me who is a big 95 pound snuggle bear who's a real Mama's boy. I also have the most adorable white German Shepherd puppy(and NO, Sgt. P, I will not sell her ever, not even for 900) I have 2 cats named Tommy and Daisy and a Bunny named Dexter. ;p I love to watch people from a park bench. I love old people. I love to hear their stories. It's weird that I'm getting 'old' now. I love to listen to my children play.(tho' I could do without their squabbling.)I also love to draw on the walls with my children.
I'm a chocoholic. I love to sing, but am bad at it. Don't sit close to me in church, in concerts or in the car. My kids boss me around.
I LOVE my family. My husband is awesome. My children are awesome (tho' noisy -they are half Italian so they can't help it).
My sisters are awesome. My nieces and nephews are awesome.
I love God. I love the Angels and Saints. I love bright colors.
I collect pictures of "Christ and the little children", even the cheesy looking ones because I identify very strongly with the mothers bringing their children to Him.
I *BELIEVE* in the goodness and mercy of God.
..
I just dont understand why people do and say some of the things that they do. Loyalty has lost a lot of its worth in todays society or so it seems.I dont think I'm allowed to but I'll keep that in mind lol. Love you too.
heres a joke you'll appreciate :p I did not write it though --
I was talking to a friend of mine's little girl, and she said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, "If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?"
She replied, "I'd give houses to all the homeless people."
"Wow...what a worthy goal." I told her, "You don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward a new house."
She thought that over for a few seconds while her Mom glared at me, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?"
