The world is yours when you're encased in sound. A rock concert is a stadium-sized version of that feeling. Think of seventies-era festivals, topless girls on boys' shoulders, wine and joints and picnic blankets, people sharing one collective dream. Walking Concert evokes that spirit...the sound is about unique and clever interpretations of a classic form. Songs that are like multi-colored Christmas lights: turn them on and it changes the whole ambiance of a place. You might even want to climb on someone's shoulders and take your shirt off.

Wie man zu Indie-pop-feiert, weiß jeder. Aber was am 28. August in Essen stattfindet, ist neu: der erste Banditenball. Es gibt einen Dresscode: schwarzer Anzug für den Herrn, gepflegte Abendkleidung für die Dame.Das Orchester wird ersetzt durch die Band Jack Beauregard. Im Anschluss gibt es eine Party mit den DJs Thorsten Popmissile und Jan 3000 in feinster Indie-rock-Manier. Gefeiert wird im Café Central des Grillo-Theaters. Für den Abend gibt es eine Cocktail-Bar, Welcome-Drinks, und Fackeln sorgen für ein angemessenes Ambiente auf der Terrasse. Die Karten kosten 15 euro und sind im Vorverkauf sowie an der Abendkasse erhältlich (Vorsicht: die Anzahl der Eintrittskarten ist begrenzt!). Karten im Vorverkauf gibt es im Banditen wie wir. Bitte unbedingt den Dresscode beachten!

Alesana sell out their show in Köln on May 19th @ Die Werkstatt. Two extra shows have been added to the European Tour: Münster & Karlsruhe. In case you couldn't get a ticket for the Köln show make sure to visit either one of these cities for a show!
The band will head over to famous DoubleEight Store (Ehrenstraße 65, downtown Köln) before the show for a signing-session at 3pm (15:00h). So be sure to come down and meet the band face-to-face! And don't forget to tell all your friends ...
