Two men and Mary,
an eternal triangle, both retro and modern in style.
WALKING NAKED MARY, formed at the end of 2007 didn’t re invent the wheel, but with their powerful electro rock have developed a very distinguished and modern sound.
They are heavily influenced by the music of the 70’s and 80’s, but with an added portion of Old School Punk Rock, especially hidden in the lyrics. But they still manage to surprise their listeners by throwing in pop ballads!
The MySpace Walking Naked Mary web site has proven very popular, with their songs being played over 500 000 times in the first six months of them going online.
After the re location of the band in Hamburg and the release of their first album ‘Conscripts’ (Stringkiller Records) in December 2008, WNM are permantly on tour while they are writing songs and pushing the band to the next level.
Mary will evolve from a two piece iPod Band to a 4 piece Liverockband.
Over the years the guys have or still work with countless other musicians, notably Abdoujaparov and iDou (Les Carter, AKA Fruit Bat from Carter USM), Warhead, John Hayes (Mothers Finest), Rozencrantz and Shizuko to name just a few.

Ein Trio Infernal, retro und modern zugleich.
WALKING NAKED MARY erfanden 2007 das Rad zwar nicht neu, haben aber mit ihrem wuchtigen Elektro-Rock einen unverwechselbaren Sound entwickelt.
Beeinflusst werden sie von Musik der 70er und 80er Jahre. Mit einer gesunden Portion Oldschool-Punkrock, vor allem in den Lyrics, jubeln sie ihren Zuhörern sogar Popballaden unter. Die mySpace-Filiale von WALKING NAKED MARY ist bestens besucht, über 500.000 Mal wurden ihre Songs schon angehört.
Nach dem Band-Umzug nach Hamburg und der Veröffentlichung ihres Debüt-Albums „ConScripts“ (Strinkiller Records) im Dezember 2008, das bei allen Onlineportalen zum download bereit steht, ist die Band permantent auf Tour während sie neue Songs schreiben und die Band immer weiterentwickeln.
Mary wird sich von einer 2 Mann iPodband zu einer vollwertigen Liverockband werden.
Sie sind auf einem sehr guten Wege dahin, und sie haben illustre Mitstreiter bereits überzeugen können: sie spielten bereits mit Bands wie Abdoujaparov und iDou (Les Carter AKA Fruitbat von Carter USM), Warhead, John Hayes (Mother's Finest), Rozencrantz (Top Gothic Rock) und Shizuko (Electro Gothic Rock).

As you may or may not be aware SoundARC hold a charity gig every year at Club 85 in Hitchin in aid of the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, and this year we are going to try something a little different from previous years.
This year we are going to take over the club and host 37 acts in one weekend putting full bands upstairs and acoustic acts downstairs in an event that we are calling ARCfest!
It all starts on Friday 4th December at 7pm and then continues on through Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th from 12pm-11pm
As well as raising money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, ARCfest will showcase all the different genres of bands that we at SoundARC have come across over the last 4 and a half years. Over this weekend a lot of the acts that you will see don’t get a chance to play a great local venue like Club 85, So as well as hearing new music you will see all manors of genres and styles from acoustic - Metal - Indie - Rock - Punk - Electro - Ska - Funk - Hip Hop/Rap - Alternative - Rhythm & Blues - Reggae - Grunge and loads more that I cant remember!

Vor zwei Monaten pflanzte ich 14 Apfelkerne in einen Topf und sah kurz darauf voller Stolz einen kleinen grünen Halm gen Himmel sprießen...ja, ich bin Vater geworden.
