Walking Wounded are a 5 piece band from East London playing a wide variety of original material from Rock to Arabic, Reggae to Balkan, Celtic to Ska and more…
They feature accordion, guitar, harmonica, bass, percussion and harmony vocals.
Don’t be fooled – despite their eclecticism the Wounded retain their distinctive sound that makes them instantly recognisable and the band rock with an energy that many an electric band would envy.
The band were one of the winners of the 2004 Glastonbury unsigned bands competition and one of The Guardian’s ‘Best of the rest’ at Glastonbury 2004. And now some press quotes:

The 'Save the Swan Sessions' first 3 gigs are now sorted! First one is a Halloween Party ( well the day after but hey! ) on November 1st with Monkey Island and the Owlls, then on November 15th we have the Walking Wounded and The Dublo and on November 22nd Morning Bride and all the way from Atlanta Georgia, Gringo Star! All gigs are on Saturdays and start at 8.30 with a licence till 1pm. There is free entry but if you like what you hear we will all appreciate a nice donation for the bands and the campaign in the hat at the end!! See you all there! :)
Thought we'd let you know that our club, Gypsy Hotel is 2 years old Saturday 18 October and we will of course be playing (our first London show for six months as it goes!)
