I'm into motorcycles, cooking, Astros Baseball, Houston Texans football and being the best father I can be. I love spending time with my sons Dylan & Bryan. Excelling the ideals of fraternity and brotherhood; I am actively involved both with Freemasonry and Sigma Nu.
I am very involved with two charities: Shriners Childrens Hospitals and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. I was a Shriner for a while, but am not anymore. I do still volunteer at the Shriners Burn Hospital in Galveston as much as I am able. In the spring I raise money for the PBTF and participate in the "Ride for Kids" each year. Both of these organizations are dear to my heart.
Music
I mainly listen to the Texas style of country music like Charlie Robison, Cory Morrow, Kevin Fowler and those guys. I listen to everything though from Paul Epic to CKY to Pantera to Bubba Sparxx to Jack Johnson & Harry Connick Jr. I can't live without music and I have a very big taste for all of it.
Check out this video from my friend and brother Vince Vance
Movies
Probably my favorite movie ever is Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man. Onionhead is my life on film! I really like all the comic book movies out and am really looking forward to seeing Iron Man & the new Batman movie.
Television
About the only thing I watch is Baseball or Football and the News. The only "real" shows that I watch are Heroes, Mind of Mencia and The Shield.
As a Coast Guard Chef, I am always looking for new food ideas so I watch a lot of shows on the Food Network.
Books
I am currently reading Secret History of the World: As Laid Out By The Secret Societies.
Just picked up a couple new cook books, and a Pat Robertson book as well. I'm looking forward to reading them.
Heroes
My dad. He helped shape me into the man I am today. My high school football coach Joe Longley. Chris Graham, my mentor in college. Those men are the epitemy of the words honor and integrity.
There's no much to me really, I'm your average guy. I was born and raised in Beaumont, TX by my parents who are still married to this day. My best friends are my two brothers Ben & Mike. We are very close.
I attended Lamar University and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity while I was there. I dropped out of college and joined the US Coast Guard just before 9-11. I've been doing that ever since. My primary job in the Guard is that of a Chef, or Food Service Specialist as we call them, but as with all ratings in the Coast Guard I am required to do much, much more and have worked on Law Enforcement boarding teams, training teams, as well as running Damage Control operations on a flight deck! I'm damn good at what I do too.
I am married to a very wonderful woman who is my best friend in the world and we blessed with two sons. My wife and kids mean more to me than anything in this entire world; I a very lucky, lucky man.
I am a very active Freemason. I ride motorcycles every chance I get and do charity work in my free time. I support the ideals of liberty, am a strong supporter of the 2nd Ammendment, and a very big mororcycle rights activist.
I believe very stongly in the following words: faith, hope, charity, love, truth, and honor. I do my best each day to be a good man live by these words.
I am a Christian, believe in the Lord and that Jesus Christ died for our sins. I'm not always the best Christian, nor do I claim to be... but again, I do the best I can.
That's enough about me.....
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet Bob Barker, Stan Lee, a real samurai, Trent Lott and the Commandant of the Coast Guard.
