We are a church that is passionate about God's love, God's mercy, and God's grace.
Do you know that EVERYONE on the planet throughout history (except one person) has sinned at some point in their lives? Do you know that NOBODY who has sinned can go to heaven?
To remedy that, God sent his Son to be the one person that lived perfectly, then to die for us (that's love) so that we could escape an eternity seperated from Him in Hell, which we deserve (that's mercy), and more than that, despite the fact that we've all sinned, he made a way for us to be with Him in Heaven, even though we don't deserve it (that's grace)!
As a church, we believe it's our job to tell this awesome message to people who don't know it yet, but we also believe it's our job to build up and encourage those who do.
Church isn't about being beat over the head with guilt every time you sin until you can't hardly stand to look at yourself in the mirror! Should a Christian live right? ABSOLUTELY! But the truth is, everyone is going to fail... probably every single day. Guilt is NOT the path to living better, but instead the way to clean up your life is understanding how much God loves you so well that you have an intense desire to please Him! It's important to realize that God loves you even when you do mess up. It's important to realize that He wants to forgive you and help you get back on the right path in life.
This is what we teach at our church, and we are looking for not only the people that need to hear it, but people that also feel strongly about this message and want to help us spread it. We need people to help us in every area so that we can get this message out to people who are hurting and confused in life, so that we can help build them up.

Hello I would like ot invite everyone to a revival at Prospect Park Baptist Church June 16th - 18 2008. Song of Salvation Ministries will be presenting special Services each night starting at 7pm. Please stop by one or all nights it is really a good time. There will be music and a really good message each night. I will be there each night running the computer for the hymns and stuff.
i like what you said about not living with guilt everyday. i have been looking for a church that my husband will enjoy. we have a son & we want to bring him up around great things. it's just hard to find a place where we're all happy. maybe Walk of God can be that place.
