Thank you for coming to the FREE youth ARTISTS' WORKSHOP with Roger Goldenberg on Tuesday, June 24th 7-9M and Saturday, June 28th 1-5PM. See you at Art-To-Go! See seacoastoutright.org for details.
I am a sculpture.
I am a community.
I HAVE WRITING ALL OVER ME. Write to me and I will put your words on me. I am a wall and open door. You can walk through me. On me you will read about feeling connected or feeling alone. I AM A PLACE FOR GAY, LESBIAN, BI, TRANS, OTHER QUEER and questioning youth and friends. You don't have to write specifically about being queer, but I'm here for you if you are. I am a work in progress and I grow when I get more writing. The people that make me are part of me. Maybe I will come to your town. I tour. ...I was at BOSTON'S GAY-STRAIGHT YOUTH PRIDE 2006 and 2007 but I also travel to other places.
Are you wondering how to contact me? How to send submissions? Well, I can help you out with that, too! Just send me a message via Myspace if you have any questions or comments and here is the email you can send your submissions to:
wallandcenter@gmail.com
Please write something along the lines of "submission" on the subject of the email, that way I know you're..well, submitting something! We have an official submission file we can send you upon request, so don't be shy!
Resources Seacoast Outright
This is my crib. These are my peeps. In other words, Seacoast Outright is the hosting organization of Wall and Center Project. Check them out on Myspace, too (number one in my top twenty, yo!)

Also, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TeenTG/ is for transgendered teens, hosted by a Seacoast Outright peer facilitator.
Post Queer Project
Like Post Secret, only with a cause, this ambitious project is based out of Chicago and is frankly amazing. Check them out:

Grimm Army
This huge army of youth (over a thousand) fight for what is right: equal rights, getting the message out any way they can, through protests, being rebels and just plain getting it across that things are not okay and they need to change. The Grimm Army is definitely a force of change, check out their myspace, but know that it isn't even the tip of the iceberg that is Grimm Army:

Hey my beautiful Wall and Center Project. The place of sanctuary for my thoughts where I can join in the collective consciousness ascension. The Ascension of the mind of youth. A place where we share discoveries and turmoil and coming of ages. Wall and Center is our freedom to create and our freedom to be who we are. Every single one of us is an amazing soul and that is what we are here to remember.
Thanks for the message J. my beautiful. I'd love to get involved. All I ever do is work or think about working. Let em know when the meeting is!!! Mwah! Peace and love always.
Every breath. Touch. Gasp. Moan.
Never leaves my mind like a good dream gone bad
But never a nightmare
She left me yearning, wanting, desiring
For nothing but her voice close against my ear
Causing shivers down my spine and chest
She was perfect, even in the way she left
So subtle in the night did she go
With a three letter note by the door
I swore I felt her lips on my eyelids and before I could open them
She vanished like a fog never meant to stay
Now boys and girls come and go
I'm desperately searching for the kiss that used to make me whole
None come close
None know the true meaning of perfection
I've found a girl torn inside
I'll stop time to fix her posture
She's not perfect, but I can make it appear so
Though I'll always know
The perfection lies in the possibilities
And she...she was impossible
