Many, many people have influenced us over the years. Stand outs I guess would be John Martyn, Alex Lifeson, Tony Mcmanus, Colin Reid, Arab strap, Jose Gonzalez, Nick Drake, Tirval Scott, and ourselves. :0)

Beauty, joy, and humour. In musical form. "Perfect for a hot Sunday morning in Los Angeles...really soothing and beautiful" Nikki O'Neill,we like her :')
The WallField Dialogues was/is made up of yer man Colin, and meeself Owen. We live in Aberdeen and all the music on this page was written between ourselves, kind of like a dialogue, and tunes are good for marking the passage of time. It all began when we met, on a boat in mental weather in the North Sea, and wrote a nice instrumental little duet on acoustic guitar. Over the next few years, MANY late nights, MANY drams, and a couple of brilliant/hilarious/mental/great years of sharing a flat together, we created and recorded some tunes that we're still extremely proud of.
Some great gigs were had, in Aberdeen and Glasgow, and those nights are always remembered fondly. The brilliant work of our "tour manager" Bobby, The Tunnels in Aberdeen, The Standard Lamp Sessions in Glasgow, all fantastic fun and a grand laugh. The hugely talented Tom Blasdale had a brief spell accompanying us on french horn, which is not as bizarre as it may sound, but we never got round to recording any of the music which is a regret.
Unfortunately for the band, time and changing circumstances eventually got the better of us. Colin moved on to new things and places, and has recently become the proud dad to little Oscar! :) Whereas I have been lucky to find a new musical home in Triflemore, working alongside the astonishing vocal and lyrical gifts of Susan Rhea.
So now the dialogues exist as a virtual thing. Fantastic times, and great memories, and if we can be so bold as to say, some truly original, unique and fascinating acoustic music. Maybe as time goes on, we will find time to do more. If we do, it'll be on this page, and we'll let you know.
Owen :')
