Chi sono: The Wall Of Fallen Heroes was created in March 2005, to honor the brave men and women of PA who gave their all for their country. The wall consists of two sections. It is made of cedar wood. The boards on the wall are stained with two coats of red stain. The name of each solider along with their rank is stenciled onto the boards, then carved and painted using sun ray yellow paint. As of May 31st 2005 the wall held the name of 84 honored soliders. In March of 2006 a second section was started and last May there was a total of 126 names on the wall. Today a total of 228 names Honorably line the walls. A Mobile Tribute to Pa's fallen heroes has been created. The portable wall is a replica of the original wall, except this one will travel throughout pa, by request. Hopefully to the home towns of our fallen heroes. Last year as part of our Memorial Day program we included a dedication ceremony of the Wall Of Fallen Heroes. The program honors those who have fallen in the line of duty since the Iraq war started. Included in that ceremony also was the unreveiling of a special memorial which will stand proudly between the two walls. This memorial is a dedication to all the soliders who have sacraficed their lives for their country. When a solider died in the field they fastened his bayonet to his rifle and stuck it into the ground.Then placed his helmet on top, along with a pair of boots and Dog Tags. Through donations from the public and local businesses we have secured the helmet, rifle and boots. All donations will go toward the upkeep for the portable and permanent wall. We encourage all businesses to sponsor the wall and we would be proud to transport the wall to your location for display.A Fallen Heroes Memorial Garden is being designed and will be located in fisherville at the Fisherville Volunteer Fire Co.Grounds.GroundBreaking date has not been set as of yet.This garden will honor the fallen of all Wars,Fire Depts,Ambulance,Paramedics & Police Units,from Pa.Plus will be the Home for the permanent Wall Of Fallen Heroes.If you would like to help in creating or supporting this memorial garden.Contact us at the address below.For touring dates, times, and locations please contact frednunemacher@yahoo.com
