Memorial Drive
Is a 4 piece Newcastle/Maitland band. They have been called a heavy rockcore band, a heavy rock band, a metal band,a rock band, progressive band but they would prefer you to have a listen and make up your own mind as hopefully they have something for everybody. They Present their own form of energetic , rythmic based style of heavy music along with portraying a positive message by combining a raw emotional element and a message of hope. They would love to see you guys at a show some time (hopefully in the front row jumping up and down).

are four school mates that formed in April 2006. With each member bringing a different feel to their tunes and having different influences creates very original music and a new dimention is brought into every song written. This characteristic of each member works as all four members write both the music and the lyrics together not limiting themselves to one songwriter.

is a Hard Rock band hailing from the little surf town of Nelson Bay. Beginning in 2002 they have been carving away at the local scene making an impression that no-one forgets, infusing the hard metal guitars and the moving melodic vocals of rock they create a sound that appeals to both metalheads and their mothers. Jason Lowe
Natural soul that can’t be faked, a command of his instrument that’s well beyond his years and a voice that any seasoned performer would die for is what makes 18 year old Jason Lowe unique. Though seeded in the ‘roots’ genre, his original flavour of deep, emotionally charged melodies capture any audience while his exceptional skill as a lap steel guitarist allows him to flow freely into just about any style.
Walmo’s Babies
It’s that time of the year again!
Music Industry Business students are set to put what they have learnt to the test. For the last seven years, the students have planned, organised and performed at Walmo’s Babies, their end of semester gig.
This year is set to be a great night of talent and entertainment, with five diverse acts fulfilling their rights and taking to the stage at Tighes Hill Social Club.
June 7 is set to be a thrill for everyone, with

ready to rock and flow the night away. Some of these bands have been performing for years, while others are just getting started.
Bringing at least two friends is a must for this gig and underage drinking will result in Walmo style law enforcement. Everyone is able to have fun at this licensed all ages gigs, so make the best of the night!
If you’re a student, showing your card will get you in for $3, non students are only $5. So check out the bands myspaces’, and come along on the night to support the TAFE and the local music scene.
