Walshaw Sports Club JFC is an accredited FA Charter Standard Development Club.
We offer fantastic soccer & social opportunities to all boys and girls in the local community who enjoy the game of soccer.
Walshaw Sports Club…
Was one of 36 founder Clubs to gain Charter Standard Development Club Status when the scheme was launched in 2001. The Club is currently working towards the Charter Standard Community Club Award…the highest level of award for junior Clubs…
Who are we?
Walshaw Sports Club Juniors FC was formed in 1993 when the Club, formerly known as Greenmount Rangers joined Walshaw Sports Club to form the junior soccer section. This merger complemented the 4 existing senior teams.
Girls Soccer Squad…
Walshaw Sports Club JFC are proud to announce that since September 2004 we have been training and slowly building up a squad of players for our girls teams. We now have two age groups, our U10's are building for next season and our U12’s are playing competitive league football.
Bolton Wanderers FC…
Thursday 20th February 2003 was a special day in the history of Walshaw Sports Club Juniors FC. Following a period of negotiation, the Club signed a 3-year partnership arrangement with Bolton Wanderers FC from the English Premier League. This arrangement was negotiated to be mutually beneficial to both Clubs. The arrangement between the two Clubs is due to be renewed at an "on the pitch" signing ceremony when Wanderers play Charlton at home.
